Lateral Transfer Notice:
Certified Officers transferring laterally may be eligible for placement up to Step 5 (approximately $22.93/hour), based on prior experience.


Benefits Package

    

  • 12-hour shifts
  • Overtime and Comp Time available
  • Yearly uniform allowance: $1,050
  • Take-Home Car Program within a 25-mile radius of the fence line, available after successful FTO completion
  • Longevity bonus: $5 per month for every month employed
  • Holiday bonus
  • Vacation accrual:
    • 0–4 years of service: 15.34 hours/month (184.08 hours/year)
    • Increases with years of service, up to 20 hours/month
  • Sick leave accrued monthly
  • Duty pistol provided
  • Patrol rifle (SBR) provided
  • Duty ammunition replaced annually
  • Body armor replaced every 5 years
  • Taser provided (upon certification)
  • Less Lethal Shotgun provided (upon certification)
  • Fully paid medical insurance for officer and family
  • Education incentive pay for:
    • Intermediate Certification / Associate’s Degree
    • Advanced Certification / Bachelor’s Degree
  • Membership in Skiatook Fraternal Order of Police
